About Us
Nikiree Shepherds was established in 1992 with the idea that a correctly bred German Shepherd could be the perfect all around companion animal. My dogs are 1st and foremost family pets, as well as, conformation, obedience and herding dogs. I breed for Temperament, Conformation and Workability and strive for a balance of all 3 ideals in my puppies. I breed American line German Shepherds, who in my opinion, make much better family companions. Prior to any breeding, the dogs are OFA prelim'd/certified to reduce the chance of hip dysplasia in the lines. The pedigrees are carefully screened to produce exceptional litters with correct structure, movement, beauty and brains. Our dogs have won at specialty and all breed shows up and down the east coast and on a National level. Anyone interested in purchasing a Nikiree Shepherd must fill out a placement application and provide references to ensure that the puppy has the best possible home. We only breed occasionally, so if you are interested in a pup, please e-mail us so you can be put on our waiting list. At any time, for any reason, if a dog cannot be kept by it's owners, it is returned to Nikiree Shepherds. I am always available to assist puppy buyers if any future questions arise. If I don't have a puppy here for you, I can assist you in finding a reputable breeder in your area.

I work as a veterinary technician and after serving 4 years on the board of directors, I was the secretary of the local German Shepherd club, a position I held for 8 years. My dogs are one of my greatest joys. They give me and my family unconditional love and they are loved unconditionally in return. They are truly a gift and each one has something special about them.
